A documentary.

Baylee Kahlon

Lightfleet Crew member Baylee is producing, co-directing, and writing for Lightheaded.  Originally from Traverse City, Michigan, she wandered around the globe in all different directions, mostly led by her heart and accompanied (sometimes) by her brain.  Often times, it was Lightfoot's music that had the ability to transport her back home, no matter how far away she was from the Great Lakes.  She officially emigrated to Israel in 2016 where she and her husband, Moni, are settling into life in Tel Aviv, with their pup, Milo, and are  waiting expectantly for their little Israeli-American peanut to come in December.

Baylee practices and teaches Vinyasa, Restorative, and Children’s Yoga.  Her passions are music, bees, flowers, books, and (watching her husband make) delicious food.  She loves her sweet friends and family, Friday afternoons in the sun (Arak drinking is optional and encouraged), and will watch any Coen Brothers production.  She holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Michigan and recently earned her MA in English Literature from Ben Gurion University in Be’er Sheva, Israel.

After spending the five years living and working as a musician and songwriter in Los Angeles, Brady Corcoran moved back home to Traverse City in 2014 with his wife, Erika, and their dog, Stella.  Currently working as an Audio Technology instructor at Northwestern Michigan College, Brady is fortunate to still have time to write and perform original music.

During his tenure in LA, Brady teamed up with fellow TC native Blake O'Brien and created "Sweater Party," a songwriting and production team that would go on to work with a rotating lineup of talented musicians, Sweater Party continues to slowly but surely produce music using the collaborative power of the Internet.

The influence of Gordon Lightfoot on Brady's musical career cannot be overstated, having traveled across the US and Canada with his dad, listening to every album in the discography and usually on the way to see a Lightfoot show. It is a tradition that continues to this day, from Reno, NV to Warren, MI and now on to the UK...

The camera guru of the Lightfleet, Noam has become quite the man to go to for musicians artists, and artistic souls in Israel.  Originally from France, he emigrated to Israel when he was eighteen, enlisted in the army, and then went on to study photography and film in Jerusalem.  While studying, he met his beautiful  wife, Stav.   They work and live at their home studio in Be'er Yaakov, Israel, with their little one, Nov.

His forte is filming music festivals and musicians around the world.  Noam just returned from India, where he covered the journey of three Israeli folk musicians.  He is surprised and excited by this similar experience in the UK that follows Gordon Lightfoot on this magical pilgrimage.

As the art director for Lightheaded, Emma has a strong background in visual communication. She attended the University of Michigan's School of Art & Design and  focused in graphic design and printmaking.  Mostly working with bands, Emma has created art for Brandi Carlile, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, David Ramirez, Frontier Ruckus and many more.

She would rather draw than write more about herself.

Torran Lohman

Torran is the audio wizard  and producer for Lightheaded. He has studied audio technology in both San Diego, CA and Traverse City, MI. In addition to being a Navy veteran, he has worked in radio, television and film, recorded multiple albums, and works in the Audio Technology Department at Northwestern Michigan College. Torran is extremely active in the local live sound industry and has had the pleasure of working with artists such as Weird Al, Charlie Daniels, Joan Jett, Starship, the Contours, the Vandellas and more.

Nadav has been editing since his teens and to date has edited for leading brands such as Puma, Red Bull, Diners Club, Jamie Oliver, Strauss and more.  Even though he returned to Israel  from London a year ago, where he completed his BFA in Directing and Screenwriting for Film & TV, Nadav remains active within the UK film scene, “playing” as resident film editor at London-based ‘Detail Films’ for nearly two years and running.

Along with hundreds of mini-docs, short films and pilots, Nadav has also edited two feature films, one of them being musical-drama ‘Delirium’ (directed by Gareth Jones) which is currently on its theatrical release at selected cinemas across the UK.  It’s entirely by chance that most of Nadav’s projects have centered around music.  After editing music videos and promotional content for artists such as Hardwell, David Guetta, HaDag Nachash, Ester Rada and more, he believes both crafts of editing and musicianship are intrinsically connected.  It is all about finding the harmony between countless ingredients and making sure nothing EVER misses a beat.

Nadav is thrilled to play a part in a documentary as worldly, heartfelt and uplifting as ‘Lightheaded’, hoping to encapsulate the soul-stirring power of music over so many, many lives across the globe - and the Corcoran family in particular!
